Baby Thank You Note

The blue and green in this card make me think of baby boy, but this card could certainly be used as a non-baby thank you also. I picked out this Avery Elle stamp for the teeny little arrow. This week's challenge at the CASual Friday's blog is to use at least one arrow on your car -  CFC107: Hunger Games . (Clever title, don't you think?)  I am also entering this card in this week's Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Anything Goes.

Happy Birthday: Prima Doll Stamp

Another card made using my new Julie Nutting Prima Doll stamp. Can you tell I can't get enough of this one? I am entering my card in this week's Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Anything Goes. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello, Friend!

The following card was inspired by this week's CASual Friday Challenge. CFC107: Hunger Games challenges participants to use an arrow on their project. Looking through my stash, I have plenty of arrows to choose from, but somehow putting it all together was indeed a challenge. Here is the card I came up with. Thanks so much for stopping by.

A Card for Maddy

I'm not sure if you are familiar with Maddy Justice, a young girl diasnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. You can read more about Maddy's story here. Simon Says Stamp is hosting a card drive for Maddy the entire month of June here. I am excited to send the following card to Maddy and hope it puts a smile on her face.

Latte Monkey

I love this little C.C. Designs Image. The striped background was inspired by this week's Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge: Stripes. The paper is from the BasicGrey Fiction 6x6 paper pad. Thanks so much for stopping by!

More fun with Prima Doll Stamps

I having so much fun playing with my new Julie Nutting Prima Doll stamp. The following card was inspired by the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge: Stripes. I created the background by dry embossing the patterned paper with a stripes embossing folder and then likely swiping paint across the raised surface. I saw Kristina Werner recently use this technique and just love it. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Anniversary!

My husband's parents celebrated their 47th anniversary this year, so I made the following card. It is the same layout as the birthday card I made for my nephew, but like how the paper combination turned out a little better this time. I am entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Challenge.

Job Well Done!

My dad retired this year and as soon as the weather was nice enough, he built a back deck onto their home. He did a really nice job on the deck and so I wanted to send him a little note celebrating this job "well done."  The following card was based on the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club sketch and I am also entering it in this week's Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Challenge. Thanks for stopping by!
