Card Using Scraps - Gorjuss Girl Stamp
I have been enjoying time with my family and making cards while we have been relaxing in the evenings and enjoying a few movies together. I'm loving the time to practice coloring with my copics. I have used used scraps of patterned paper but it hardly seems like I've made a dent in the large box I brought with to my parents' house. It's amazing how that happens, isn't it?
Thank you for stopping by and Merry Christmas!

Use That Stash Episode #2 - Circle Punches & Paper Scraps
Another episode focusing on digging into our tools and stash to create some easy cards. Thanks for stopping by!
Use That Stash Episode #1 - Paper Scraps
I find myself more and more overwhelmed by all of the product that seems to have accumulated in my craft room. I find myself spending more time trying to keep it organized and less time actually creating. I wanted to challenge myself to use all of these products and to really be aware of what I am purchasing. I seem to have a particular weakness for stamps and paper even though there are stamps in my stash that I have never even used. The first episode in my Use That Stash series focuses on a quick and easy card to use those paper scraps.

SP & Company SWS Challenge #7 - Love Theme
This week's challenge over at the SP Stamps Blog is to use your SP Stamps to create a scrapbook layout, card, or 3D project with a "LOVE" theme. The card I created below was for my husband on our first Valentine's Day as a married couple.
I used the Swirly Doo Valentine Stamp Set from SP& Company and really liked how the stamp on the inside of the card mimicked the strip of patterned paper on the front of this card.
Stamps: Swirly Doo Valentine's (SP & Company)
Paper: Shaken Not Stirred 6x6 paper pad (Kaisercraft)
Ink: Memento
Rhinestones: Recollections

The small circle embellishment was included in the paper pad as a punch out. I embellished the center with rhinestones and popped it up with pop dots to give it some dimension.
